Tarleton’s Gordon Museum Open With Restrictions

Tarleton State University’s Gordon Center For Industrial History of Texas is starting to reopen, with restrictions. Beginning today, visitors are being accepted by appointment only. One hour sessions are available at 10 and 11:30 a.m., and also 1pm and 2:30 Tuesday through Saturday. There are also sessions available on Sundays at 1 and 2:30 p.m. All guests are encouraged, but not required to wear masks and gloves. All staff will be wearing masks and hand sanitizer will be available at the door and in the gift shop. Admission will be half price for the reopening phase, which is just $2.50 for adults and $1.25 for students 5-12. Seniors will be able to get in for $2.00. The Gordon Center is again taking part in the Blue Star Museum Program this summer, offering free admission to members of the armed forces and their families.
